I think my fuel pump is dead. How can I take it out, is it under the back seat?

Default its in the trunk...

close to the back seats in the right well.

Dont know if you can just replace the pump though... back here Audi sells it as a set and Bosch is not allowed to sell it seperately eventhough its a bosch pump

Default I've little experience about replacing fuel pump

Did it myself partially.
It is possible to replace only pump in set. But it need to be very careful. There is a hose on the set, which can be broke very easy during dismantling whole set, during replacing a pump, during instalation.
As dealer's electrician predicted I broke a vital hose on set body during phase two. :-)

I can't recommend do it yourself without clear instruction what hands movement must be.

and because I was trying too many times to start it gave up. I disconnected the pump, cleaned the relay and is all good now.
