Default Ice racing with my A8

Just got back from my first time ice racing. Oh what fun. This is one big car, slow to pivot and hard to control once it does. Guess I need more seat time. Hit a snow bank and lost the passenger side lower vent cover. Anyone have the part number for that so I can order it Monday.

Default Doc- What year/model- I'll look it up in ETKA. Sounds like you had great fun!

I assume that the lower vent cover you refer to is the one in the front lower grille in the black section.

I bought A8 '97. Recently it began to make
squeling noises in trany. I went to two garages
for an advice. One said they want to overhaul
trany for $7K the other said just flush and change transmission oil. Who should I believe?

Thanks for any advice!

Brings up a question - what's the most recent version of ETKA that's commonly available?

Default Just read your post on the XM

yes I love it more every day. Save your $800 and get the XM. I bought the TREK antennea as well and got a $75 rebate with it. If you do make sure they tap in after the amplifier or else you will not be able to use your radio. Any question give me a call at (989)975-0062 any time.

Default I recently received an email offering ETKA version 6, covering model years through 2003.

I don't yet have a compelling need for >2001 information, so I didn't get it. Check ebay if you are interested, I bet someone there has one for sale.
