Unrelated, me ML service advisor told me his pop is selling his '03 //S8 (cashmere), ~ 85k, probably something like $22-23k, FWlittleIW. We're in CT. Said he hated it due to 40k WP failure ($2k @ stealer, did tbelt, etc. 'while in there'), window motor failure, etc.

.....bring a good sound recorder. The &gt;7000RPM sounds the car makes is worth recording, it used to give me goosebumps every time I drove the car.

p.s. Audi content: Buttons are popping out of the memory seat module, and the driver's side memory seats no longer work. Is this common? Is part available cheap or used? IS there fuse specific to this?

I literally sat down indian style behind der //SFest F430 when he started it to depart - OMF'G... nearly deafening as he burped it a few times.

The thought of that thing nearing 8k WOT is mind bending. Listening to him leave //SFest for 2 miles through the twisty woods was kewl, betting it's slightly better from das driver seat.

Audi Content: speaking of switches... any source for the cabin motion sensor thingy that's in the driver B pillar above the trunk release? My cap is missing. Also for the trip MMI or whatever controller in center console - need knobby. Rear dome / reading light bulbs... stealer wants $14 each. Um, no. Other sources?
