So I did the rear brakes before I left because I had a high pitched chirping sound coming from the back. If I pulled up the ebrake while driving just a little bit (the light doesn't even come on) the noise goes away. I was sure new pads and turning the rotors would do the trick. Not go. The noise is still there, driving me crazy. This started over the winter when I
hit a curb with the back wheel. Any thoughts ? I might try to find a dealer along the way. I'll be in Nobelsville, IN tonight for a day or so. Anyone know of a dealer in the area ? Noblesville is about 30 mins from Indianapolis.
I'm going to pull the wheel off and take a look.
I'll do a parking lot repair if anyone has an idea ?? Paul, I'll get back to you about the alignment when I'm back. It was too crazy before
I left - thanks..

I don't know if all A8's have the dust shield that mine does....but I've had mine make noise after a brake job because it got bent in the wrong direction, just takes bending it back the other way....

when I had it in at the dealer a couple of months
ago they said the rear pads were glazed. Maybe they missed it too. Thanks, I'll check it out tonight at the in laws.
