inner tie rod facelift tools & OUTER tie rod removal trick

I just changed my inner tie rods and figured out the PERFECT tool for removing the tie rod end w/o doing any damage.
Just turn a 3/8" extension upside down. It's just the right size and won't get stuck. Couple of taps with a hammer and it will pop right out.
Facelift cars: inner tie rod ends are available seperately and you need a 38mm crowfoot for both the old and new ones. I think they're different sizes for the pre-facelift cars.
I took some pics and will post. Huge difference, wish I did them a while ago...

in the background of the photo. The one you show is the outer tie rod. Just to clarify for others, not to thread crap ;-) Great idea on the extension, by the way!
