I assume it's the corrosion that could result from bolting a steel tow package to the A8's aluminum frame. To be done properly, rubber gaskets are used to keep the bolts/fasteners from electrically connecting the steel and aluminum ... a bit tricky.

cause contact corrosion? Or even the tow bar unless you leave it permanently installed? The only reasonable way to get contact corrosion on these vehicles is to use incorrect fasteners when reassembling the aluminum components, and leaving them installed for a considerable period of time. Other than that nit, great article!
