so i have been having trouble with my interior lights staying on when i get in the car, close the door, then start the car. They will stay on for a good 30 sec, even after shifting into R and D. The only way I have found to stop this is to get in, close door, start the car, then open and shut door again. Any idea how to fix it so that it will go off when the car starts? Could it have something to do with a switch or relay in the Driver side door panel? I noticed that the panel is a lil loose (i think the previous owner broke some of the clips that hold it onto the door).

nope. everything is ok, just that the lights stay on, til i open and close the door again.WTF

The light stays on for 4 minutes or until you lock the car.

even when i start driving away? or put it in reverse. this isnt AFTER I stop and get out. this happens after i get in the car, close the door and start the car. the dome lights and other lights stay on til I re-open the door and close it.
