After fixing up a salvage title 1999 A8 Quattro, I rrecently took it on a 2,000 mile round trip to nashville and back to my corner of iowa.besides the drivers side windshield wiper fluid no longer working, the car performed flawlessly. Not bad for 133k miles on the odo. I did n otice the a/c took a while to catch up to the humid heat of tennessee, but after about 10 minutes it cooled down. I had the coolant charged before I left, so it wasn't that. Seems like it needs stronger fans to blow the ac through the car. My 2005 Honda Accord gets cold way way faster than the A8. But the ride and comfort of this uber-lux kept me and the fam happy the whole way there and back. Plus, you get instant respect when you pull up to the motel check-in driving one of these lol

I don't notice any extra motel response when I pull in with the S8:

I've noticed a difference in some places I go. It seems like I get better service when they see me drive up in a nice luxury car instead of my old dodge stealth or honda accord...I'm luvin it
