Default nope. They were a "feature" of this house I had to deal with

The south end of the shop has a 14' high 25' wide wood frames all glass wall and a single sloped ceiling down to 9' on the north side. The beams are at 8'6" high, a little over 8' apart and serve to stabilize the south wall. I think this room was originally a post and beam horse stable that under went a remodel and addition 25-30 years ago. That is the only way I can explain several construction attributes including those beams.

I had to find a lift that cleared the beams which the TP10 does by a couple inches. I didnt tie the lift to them.
