Go to www.upsolute.com and find your local rep.
They did a comparison with my GTI VR6 with the Upsolute, GIAC, Neuspeed. On paper, the advertised hp and torque GIAC won, but when you throw the cars and chips on the dyno, Upsolute won handsdown. The service with those guys is top notch too. If there are enough people in one area that get it, you can get a discount on a group buy.
Dont know how the A8/S8 maps are, but the GTI uses the same engine management system.

hp/torque gains and price from Upsolute
From 300hp to 320hp
From 295 ft# to 315ft# torque
No change in fuel consumption
In home service
Speed limiter removed
Top speed from 156 mph to 167 mph (not that I would drive that fast)
All for $370
