I had 289,000 on my 200 quattro when I sold it & it still had its original transmission and engine. I believe it's still in service.

Not taking away from 289K miles but I'll take 40k/yr hwy vs.10k/yr city - BIG diff IMO
I put my 5KCSTQ out to pasture with 330K. Still ran but needed clutch, tires, brakes, looked like hell, etc. She spent nearly 4 years doing a 150 mile round trip commute, almost entirely slab with minimal traffic. Easiest miles you can put on a car.

I have seen 400K+ on some 5 cyl 20Vs (I have almost 200K on my '93 S4), but I have never seen anything near 200K on a 4.2. My '98 D2 had pretty major issues at 98K
