Looked like it just got detailed. The guy driving was giving mine the once over. I tried to catch up with him after the toll plaza on Rt. 28 but I forgot to transfer my easypass to my new car and had to wait for change. I will definitely do some more pics later today or tomorrow.

On occasion, you may see my Silver '01 A8L on the Toll Road - I work up in Reston, but its sitting at HBL having the steering column cover replaced and the column travel adjusted. Stuck in a Buick Century for the day!

The auto-retract feature of the steering column would drag the top portion of the column cover up against some fasteners behind the lower dash piece - basically, it was slightly out of limits and had to be adjusted. Since that was done, they went ahead and ordered a new cover piece since the original was gouged up (two furrows in the plastic). Not all that big a deal. I had the auto-retract feature off until they could get it fixed - took ~ 2 weeks to get the part in.

Can't wait to get the car back. The wife was all excited to take the car to tennis (my weekly watch the four little ones so she can recharge the batteries) - I hear a shout from the garage, "What the hell is that?!" Summed up my feelings about having to drive a Buick Century for a day.
