Default $50 per HP ... not a very effective $600 chip

Default 11hp for an S4 chip? Maybe for TAP... with my MTM chip on my S4 it's 50hp better than stock!

Yeah, I know, no A8 content.

There is only so much we can do with the N/A engines.

Default Yes, and Go Go's got a point on the NA engine.

APR is out first for this engine, and I'm sure others will do a little better, but basicly it's saying to me that our NA 4.2L engines from factory are about as good as they get without major work. 11hp or even 15hp for $600, might as well put it towards a better exhust.

Default Intresting.

Thanks ryoung,

The calculations look good, but I have to admit it's not my field and I would not know if they were or were not right. I'm more convenced by the Dino and that Nascar is using the oil.

I need to get to 5K before which is still a little ways off. I will prob. use this oil, if not for the performance gains, but for the protection it will offer the 4.2L.

So, do we stick with the 3000 mile oil interval? What is the general concensus with this oil?

Default I'm using a 5000 mile interval, but ...

I'll do an oil analysis to see how both the oil and engine hold up.
