Yep, BMW's body designs aren't very good looking these days IMHO.

Caption:
BMW has tried everything to keep the new 5-series secret, but shortly before its official revealing some pictures somehow got distributed. Even more incredible, this is original BMW factory material.

http://autotelegraaf.nl/vanonzeredactie/?id=9784</a

Default What's with the eyebrows and trunk lid- you think they would have learned their lesson.....

from the new 7 series debacle- BMW is ALREADY redesigning the "new" 7 series because of its hideous looks! I agree- the latest BMW styling isn't up to their previous standards.

Default BMW is going downhill....

They had a good thing and pushed it too far past the envelope.

Default Why would you want a bigger picture of an ugly car?

I really think Audi had better start figuring out how to sell a lot of cars.

Default I think it's uglier than the current 7 series--if that's possible

Wonder if it's got that car's software engineering (i-drive) too?!

On the 5-series? Or the 7-series.

My understanding is that the 7-series is under redesign. I would really be surprise if the 5 already is, but it would be a good idea from what I'm seeing here.

Default NEXT GENERATION A6.

With the oversized body, on such small tires, it reminds me of the midsized Lexus, which is hideous as well.....this should serve as ample opportunity for the next generation A6 gain the spot light from the 5 series, based on "looks" alone. The new E class is a vast improvement over the previous generation however.

Default The 7 series was so ugly, they have announced a re-design of....

...the front and back ends already.

"The shortest life of a BMW design ever" AutoWeek

That 5 design can't possibly fly with the failure of the 7.

The Autoweek story is about the premature redesign of the 7 series- must be costing BMW $$$$$$$$$$!
