I dropped a "nudge" e-mail to the Sales Manager at Recaro with the intent of ringing him tomorrow however I got an out of office until Thursday response. I will do my best to make/take time to ring him then.

I have surrendered and placed a small lumbar pillow made of fleece where the deflation occurs. It has made all the difference!

What happens if you just connect the pump hose to the two lumbar hoses?
If you are carefull when pressing the button they should not "pop"...
