Hi Paul,
I made a program to convert the data in your log to text. These lines stand out
17:54:03.522, R0, 261, 8 39 33 2E 31 00 20 20 20 --- 9 3 . 1
17:54:03.523, R0, 263, 8 20 20 46 4D 2D 30 31 00 --- F M - 0 1
I wonder if 261 is for line 1 and 263 is for line 2.
Is 93.1 FM a good station

This post is from 2007, and I have researched the issue and haven't found a solution for the d2 a8/s8's.
I wish there werea solution, but the RNS-E works great in the facelift cars with the exception of the DIS.
