Default Re: Top 3 reasons they should be separate forums:

When you say "too many posts............." I assume you are referring to those of us that have purchased 04 A8L`s. I attribute all of this to the "Audi experience". Even though this will be my first Audi, I can understand and be part of the enthusiasm. My car was ordered on June 23 and for all intents and purposes, it should be here. But thats o.k. if it isnt. It takes nothing away from my eagerness to check in with the forum as often as I can and NOT only for 04 A8L`s. Even though I am not in the same league mechanically as most of you, I have, on occasion, responded to certain mechanical questions and have felt comfortable with my response. I think that it would be ashame for those of us who enjoy "the experience" and do not look a the differences amongst the cars but celebrate the likenesses. This is only my opinion and I have been wrong!

I agree with greenie. We should keep the A8 forum intact as it is. I am not very mechanically oriented and it will be nice to get some information from the true Audi aficionados in the future. Once most perople get their new 2004 A8L's the talk of waiting for cars, etc. will taper off and we will all need help with other issues.

Default I vote against. splitting. Keep D2 and D3 together.

I Have an 01 A8L and can't see enough of a difference to seperate the two Especially since classwise its the same car.

The posts about delivery and shipping are okay. The way I see, those people have paid $$$$ to get the cars first. I think its cool that they're sharing pictures and stories of their cars and experience.

Default I've changed my tune...

Used to want them separate so we would stop annoying the older A8 owners with our countdowns, but after monitoring this for a few months, the info is invaluable to all A8 owners (D2 and D3) and I hope they stay together. I'm opinionated, but not stubborn!

Default I would rather see them stay together for now

I'm learning all about the launch options....some day when I buy an 04....I'll be able to say "I got one with the auto close function of the trunk! They discontinued that right after relase."

I'm sure I must sound like a broken record sometime.....glad we have audipages so we don't discuss the same thing over and over again.

Default Keep them together, just not enough traffic for separate forums.

I came here from the S4 forum, your post over there gets bumped off the page in half a day. I enjoy hearing that people are buying an A8L instead of MB/BMW.
