the last month or two, my brakes have gotten progressively worse, to the point now, where i am afraid to brake as it might shudder my wheels off. When i bought my car about 8 months ago, the guys i bought it from made a deal to fix the brakes before i took the car.
i now know that they must have just turned the rotors and reseated the pads, because the problem i had when i drove the car in the first place is back with a terrible vengance. Last week i replaced the rears with some zimmerman x-drilled and Mintex red-box pads, and the fronts are coming up now.
I have been looking around for a decent setup to put in... Supposedely Zimmerman does not have a x-drilled for the front, ECS tuning's rotor setup is f'n expensive, and so i decided to go with the Stoptech option
For 140 each side in the front, they had some x-drilled rotors for the fronts. the problem is that they do not offer a good pad for these brakes, and they only have pads for the rear. What do you guys suggest for a good pad that will take some medium to agressive breaking from time to time on the street?
any of you guys running these brakes?? what do you think?

...that the ECS rotors are killer and worth the dough if you can swing it. I have these with PBR ceramic pads, and my car stops in a hurry, unlike when I bought it, when it resembled an overloaded Lincoln Mark III. <img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/84266/lincoln.jpg">
