Default Look at this S8. I just might go and check it out.

Whats the deal w/ the 80k service but no timing belt??? And he is hella dumb to put a ghetto performance chip in it.

-Oh, and how do disconnect the front cigarette lighter. Mine is full of junk and I have suspicion that the wires aren't connected.<ul><li><a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/waugu54dx1n010873_W0QQitemZ110204556841QQihZ001QQc ategoryZ150109QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewIte m">S8</a></li></ul>

Clean car, no timing belt changed yet, dangerous. Are there any good performance chips for our S8's?

Default I was told by a dealer that the timing belt is scheduled for the 90K service.

I was interested in an S8 in W. Virgina with 91K on it and no belt yet.

Default Was it red by any chance?

I know its for 90k, but with the way he states 80k service it seems like they would do the timing belt.

Default ROLLIN THRU DA HOOD IN MY SIX-FO !

Wheels are ghettofab yo! Funny you mention the "ghetto performance chip" but not them craptacular wheels heh heh. Ad said "aftermarket', could be MTM for all you know? 8-)

Kidding aside, that's comically overpriced for a 96k '01 (gee another black one 8-)!).

While at the other end of the comically-priced spectrum is newly intro'd Hassan's "grab bag" he picks up 12/23 with same miles for $12.2k.

Somewhere between those 2 is more realistic IMO.

Coolant seems to look dirty, as does brake fluid (from what I can tell).

I wouldn't sweat the tbelt - I'm near pos these are a 105k interval. Could be a year's worth of driving for some people. Course it can be upward of a $2k+ job when the time does come and depending on who does it.

Good luck / report back.

Default Wheels are a bit too bling for my tastes.... Look for a 02 or 03 if you can...

You will get a bunch of cool features like the "intimidator mode" or "S" mode as it is called by most... That alone is worth the wait for a newer model...
