Lookin at a used '03 A8L. Why would the fender liner have been R&R?
I noticed that the black inner fender part - splash shield(?) was a little bit misaligned where it attaches to the area around the wheel well opening. This on the passenger side front wheel well. Is this part commonly removed for any service procedures or am I likely to find something serious? Body panel replaced? Car is an '03 with 29k miles.
Thanks in advance!

The only reasons I know of to remove the inner liner....
on the passenger side is to repair/replace the fender, replace the upper control arms(?), or replace the fuel lines. Any other suggestions out there?
