Default Looking for bright white/blue 'markers'

Listed as halogen H12V/6W in ETKA (AKA H6W). These are for the small 'sidelights' or markers (what DO you call them?). The smallest ones in the headlight anyway.

I have the <a href="http://www.powerbulbs.com/products/product.php?prodid=pbvs&type=H6W">Philips Bluevision</a>, but next to the Xenons they look still off. A friend has blue LED's in his A3, and that looks superb, but these don't fit the S8/A8.

Anyone know a better solution for this?

Default I'm sure you could find someone here that you could have the item shipped to, then have them send..

them to you.

Heck, I'd do it; just covering shipping.

Default Thanks!

Probably Paul will help me out if necessary when he's around. But very much appreciated! :-)

I found what appears to be the manufacturer/supplier, judging by the logo on the blister in the pic on eBay. Didn't see the bulbs there, but I have sent them an email. So let's see...

Default Here's a Another Source Although K Makes A Good Point

I like LED's and I've stated the case regarding retrofits in a previous post. Kamie's link really shows how the LED's negate the value of the the reflector housing. If you have an application worth trying, the guys at the link have been good to me in the past. They have other bulbs if I misread your post and you're looking for something other than the outboard lamps

Good Luck<ul><li><a href="http://www.globalpremier.com/miniaturebulb.htm">Bulbs and some other fun stuff if you back up</a></li></ul>

Default This is what I'm talking about...

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/79649/headlight.jpg"></center><p>What do you call that? I see so many different names, I'm confusiated...

Thanks both, I think KaMa may have hit the nail on the head. I don't see these on your site Terrybill, but that may be down to me. Anyway, I think they sell Osram (rebranded as Sylvania). They sell those here too, but they're not much different from Philips BlueVision IMO. And as you can see in the pic, they are yellowish (Xenons are on as well, but that's kinda hard to see).

So either these leds (8000K is very white - Xenon temp!), or the blue bulbs like the ones on eBay.

I'm just puzzled by the numbers &amp; types they use, that's way different from our spec. <a href="http://www.eur.lighting.philips.com/int_en/cons/segments/car/products/bluevision/types.html">Philips BlueVision</a> (scroll down a bit to see H6W).

The 9mm should do it I guess, but I never guessed these tiny bulbs were SO expensive... €27 EACH! That hurts... :-/
