Default Looking for extended warrranty in CA...

I've read a number of old posts and it seems that people in the past have had some experience with Accel and Warranty Gold extended warranties.

In doing some further research, I have found that Accel doesn not offer service in CA and Warranty Gold, I believe, filed for bankruptcy a couple of months back. Also, web site is currently unavailable.

Any fresh ideas?

Could also try your insurance agent - how I got my EW. Or a Credit Union

Default Check with AAA

If you have AAA, check with their extended warranty plan. I did this and feel a bit more comfortable than going with a online company that could easily go bankrupt over the course of your term.

Default Whatever You Do ...

I wouldn't mess with Continental. Even though they are based in Cali, they don't cover seals or gaskets unless they have to be replaced along with other parts due to a failure (i.e., the tranny or engine dies).

Default Dealer quote $3700 for 3yrs...

36k, parts included for my '01 S8.

Seems a little high to me. Any thoughts?

If haven't done already, get a copy of the actual policy (contract), read it very carefully
