Hi all,
My sunroof **** might be cracked inside, it seems loose. Can I just pull it off or does something else need to be removed first?
Thanks,
-Joel.

pry from the front downward (closest to the windshield) and it'll pop right out.
If you pry from the front you'll break the tabs inside.

Like A8CT said, you need to pop out the whole panel. On the other side on mine the sunroof switch is screwed into three plastic mounting tabs. It appears that over time they were overstressed, fractured, and eventually broke.
I'm just going to put a few drops of super-glue on the tabs and press the switch into place while it sets up. Hopefully that and a gentle hand in the future will keep it all together.
