I recently had the front brake pads replaced, but the low brake light keeps coming on. It had come on once before I had the pads changed, then went off. It now goes on and off randomly. Does it need to be reset or something?

Cut the wires, attach them together, wrap 'em up in electrical tape and no more brake pad sensor light.
Who needs the brake pad warning anyways? You'll be in there at least a few times a year fixing control arm bushings, sway bar links, abs sensors, etc...check 'em then.

When mine did that, the connectors in the car's plug for one side's pads were green with corrosion. Cleaning them (with contact cleaner and Q-tips minus most of the cotton) solved the problem, and some dielectric grease will hopefully keep the water out in the future. This would have been a good place for gold plating.
