Default I have contacted Recaro customer service and requested schematics and...

parts lists for these seats. If they can supply them, I'm sure we can come up with a solution.

Default Righto! The part number for the solenoid FWIW is 4D0959931 - looks VAGlike

I will see about the passenger side bladder retention tomorrow. Again FWIW, there is no way Recarro's customer service can be anywhere as bad as AoA.

Default Mine stays hard as long as its needed -sorry could not resist-but

mine is mechanical and very clever design I thought when I opened the back seat to repair the cable for the up down operation

Default Agreed. BTW - do you guys find the S8 seats comfortable?

What is the difference between the S8 and A8 seats? The seats in my S8 are very firm. On a long drive my back starts protesting no matter what adjustments I make.

ain't makin' it. Now I know why the seat is so uncomfortable, jeez...

I checked mine last night - it seems to hold fine - sowwwy. The seat is fine too 8-).
