i have a 97 a8, and following the guidelines from an earlier post, i made the left and right side lower bumper grills. i still need to paint them black, but i have them in right now. i'm gonna give it a go making the center using the same methods, although it's a little big to use the vice.
i'll take pics and post after the paint job.
also, i'm assuming i used to have a cd changer in the back, because there is a bracket for it. i can't find the 8 pin connector. would it be under the bracket, where i would need to remove the bracket and fish it out? i'll try to find some diagrams, and search a little more in the forum.
thanks,
don h.

i'll probably stand on it and jump up and down a bit, too. eventually, i may try to replace the whole lower assembly, because it is a little bashed up. the dude before me must have pulled into the taco bell a little too fast or something. all the up and down bracing for the center are broken at the top. i'm just gonna glop some silicone on them to hold them together flexibly.
i did take a shortcut to your method, squeeto, since i'm not super concerned with how it looks up close. i'm holding them in with black zip ties, instead of trying to bolt them in. if you are standing more than 6 feet away, you'll never notice.
thanks again for your tutorial post, squeeto, and if anyone in the cincinnati area needs to do this themselves, i can let you use my molds.
