Default Magnaflow X-Pipe dont work so well

I'm at the exhaust shop now guys. The angle on the Magnaflow piece is too narrow. They had to pull both the pipes so close together to enter the x-pipe that the Cats end up touching and some of the sharp edges rub the oposite exhaust. So they are building me a x-pipe from scratch. This shop is going to take measurements and said he'll make however many we need. I took some pix and I'll put em up later when I get home on my highspeed line. I also took video of the car going up and down the road to compare sounds before and after. I'll get those up too.

Default That sucks. I figured that might be a problem with some of the ones I

looked at on eBay. BTW, what's the hp increase with that MTM ECU?

Default Re: I remember seeing someone else pix of a custom made x-pipe, Link?

Anybody know where that is off hand, this exhaust shop want to see it real quick. I can't search the forums fast since I'm on a verizon wireless card.

Default Re: MTM Hp Increase

not much if any. Nothing I could really feel. I wanted to dyno before and after but only 2 dyno's in town and expensive and always booked. Didn't feel it was worth my $150 worth of dyno pulls and 100 mile round trip driving to find out. It does lift the top speed limiter though, so I think she'll do 186 now. One day, I'm going to surprise a bike on the right stretch of road.
