Default Matching paint properly...

I am replacing the front plate mount with the smooth bumper cover. Problem is, the cover I was able to get is in a different color.

I am considering buying a paint can and clear coat from Paint World (http://www.paintworldinc.com/) and doing it myself. Should I not even bother? Should I buy paint from the dealer and get it professionally done?

Default don't waste your time and money

take it to the shop and they will have all the things necessary [flex additive, etc.] they will also tint it to match your paint.

Definitely suck it up and have it professionally done. $150 maybe?

Default Agree with the previous two.

I painted my XM antenna myself. It works, but if you get 2' away, it's pretty obvious it isn't professionally done. 3' away and it's invisible.

Based on that experience, I darn sure wouldn't paint something as large as that cover myself.

What color do you have, what do you need? Silver? Still time to trade!
