Default This may be stupid...

Is there a chance that a distributor gear fails due to lets say a round of donuts in a wet parking lot? Not really abusing, but maybe a few revolutions.

Default The bronze gear which drives a distributor is essentially a "no load" component.

Erm .. don't we use a crank trigger ... not a distributor?

I don't think so. Bronze is much stronger than donut.

Default This is a translated post from a german forum-may be like what you are having

Sorry the translation was done on a site so not all accurate but I am not fluent in deutch

Rear one, a problem has apparent with the ABS... According to AUDI center Leverkusen, are speed pickups at the rear left and in front right over there, which explains the loss of the ABS & ESP. But the worse problem presents itself for some time in the form of arbitrary sporadic brake applications, in addition, only when starting e.g. at the traffic light, or in the daily stop and go traffic... It sounds itself as irgndetwas at the front brake system would wedge, so that one gives automatically somewhat more gases whereby itself then this braking action audibly and abruptly solves! And that I have, always constantly then if I standing somewhere remain and again... it wants to drive off nervt animal... which CAN BE??? In the error memory like said as per AUDI only the speed pickups indicated...??
