Mill warped valve body flat?

Since the tranny troubleshooting focus of late seems to be on the valve body and warpage causing leaks, would it be advisable to mill a few thousandths off the valve body cover to get it true, like you would with a warped cylinder head?
Would this, in conjunction with the 1/32 in thick gasket which has been proposed, keep it close enough in terms of maintaining the correct volume in these fluid passages? Hmm... 1/32 sounds like a bit more than a few thou though..what does it compress down to?
Just a (probably bad) thought.

A gasket would probably be a better idea IMO......but until we actually determine the root cause of the problem, we can't implement solutions.
And whose to say it's on the valve body side versus the tranny side that is warped?
