So im curious if anyone has solved their misfire woes by cleaning/fixing the grounds for the two banks? I am still getting random misfires on cyl. 5-8 (P0305-P0308), P0300, and recently cyl. 2(P0302). Ive changed plugs(NGK iridiums), moved coil packs around, replaced 3 spark plug connectors (the rubber tubes that go into the block(...btw, those things are F**King expensive!) cus they were dry rotted and split, replace the Power Output Stages on both banks and STILL i get misfires. i found the ground for the driver side bank and it is all greasy and dirty. i wonder if i clean the connection if that might fix the issue. could it be the sensor that is attached to that ground as well? Help.

I have converted to those in the sheet I sent you
good luck.
16684 could be causing the rest of the codes mto spit up so I would start there.
If you need more info please ask

its a little daunting tho, as i have been having LOTS of different misfires. im guessing that its gonna be some sort of electrical problem which is causing it to fault out and idle rough. im gonna clean the connections to everything tonight (should i use electrical contact cleaner?) and clean and resecure the grounds to the motor. i will report back asap.

(for the 32V motor) most places charge for just the coil packs here:

http://www.germanautoparts.com/Audi/A8/EngineElectrical/57/2</a
