Default mitaka, where did you end up doing your brakes at?

i think you last mentioned considering quatrohaus over the dealer. if you don't mind me asking, what did you end up doing and how much did the parts and labor cost? did you replace the rotors or calipers in addition to the pads?

i also need to do my front and rear brakes. i'm leaning towards using axxis/pbr ceramic pads. read good things about them. anyone have bad experiences with them? how much would they cost (front and rear)?

thanks in advance for your help.

Default I have a set if you're interested.

Drilled zimmermans in front
Drilled brembos in back
Axxis Metal Master pads

All new. I'm gonna go with a big brake kit instead.

Default Suggestions?

I haven't decided. Maybe the 2bennett kit? It probably won't be until next year.

Default That's about the only one I know of.

Other than the MoveIt one they sell in Germany, for use with 993TT calipers and rotors. I may have a line on getting a set of knockoff brackets and hats for that one. Would then have to source my own calipers, rotors, and brake lines, which is no big deal.

Default ECS I bet has something already

A guy in Chicago just put 993TT rotors over 993 TT calipers....I think ECS has it right now for $1895, that's cheap! This is his A6 4.2

If we could just get a set of hats and brackets to fit up or to take dimensions from them, it might work out of the box.

From my investigation, the hats that come with that kit will work but we need custom brackets.
