We frequently had to evict rodents when doing restorations at the British car shop;-)

Check the oil breather hoses! They erode quickly.

I've had a similar leak which the dealer wanted to replace the head gasket. I held off and luckily during my last oil change I was informed that both my front and rear oil breather hoses have eroded away. They were both replaced and the problem was fixed!
