Default Motodyne

Not to rehash what looks like hundreds of threads, but I have a 2002 S8, and they seem to be the only shop on the east coast that has anything for my car. I want the ECM upgrade, transmission upgrade, and maybe an exhaust. Any thoughts? And MTM is too far away... And I certainly don't want to take my car apart and send them pieces to work on and have no idea what they are doing or what I am getting back.

Default First two mods probably not worth the money,

Exhaust system can be done by any decent exhaust shop. Check out audipages for pics of a great exhaust job and search the forum here for Sven's exhaust.

You'll see your best gains reducing exhaust pressure and possible making a cold air intake. Our normally aspirated cars don't show significant gains with simple software upgrades.

Good Luck.<ul><li><a href="http://www.audipages.com/Tech_Articles/enginemechanical/exhaustsupersprint.html">Vroom</a></li></ul>

Default speaking of .....

you have to check out the site home page now!!! You can buy supercharger for the V10 lambo!!! I'm getting the 4.3L stroker (was formerly listed as a 4.7L).

Even better, the A8 superchargers are now only listed for 2000 on up! Hey, what happened to the "baller" kit for the 97-99 A8s. Can't program that ecu still, huh Hack?<ul><li><a href="http://www.motodyne.com">http://www.motodyne.com</a</li></ul>

Default Don't. Just don't.

If you're really, really curious, I've got a meta-link on the desktop machine with a ton of links to the nastiness.

Just save us all a lot of time, and look elsewhere.

For $40K, the gal in the middle photo better be a "loaner" while my car is in their shop.

Interesting price tag. Do I have to pay tax if I drive from Illinois?

<center><img src="http://www.lltek.com/images/undahood/A8_UH_AIK_Z.jpg"></center><p>speaking of mods...i just installed an LLTek intake on my 98 A8. it seems a lil peppier but nothing huge, performance wise...i bet with an exhaust i will begin to notice more of a change in power. What are your thoughts on the LLtek Intake? here is the link:<ul><li><a href="http://www.lltek.com/aik_a8_D2.htm">http://www.lltek.com/aik_a8_D2.htm</a</li></ul>
