I mentioned before I was throwing in the towel on fixing the limp mode problem. I've listed my car on ebay. If nothing else, you can amuse yourself looking at the pictures, though bidding early and often would be nice. I've hired an agent to shop for another at wholesale auctions, so I'll only be a non-Audi owner for a short while. (Or, I'll be stuck with 2 for a while.) I'm not sure why I'm such a masochist and getting another one. Oh, I remember. There's an expression that used to be used with regard to Jaguars: "Ah! I was thinking for a future project to put the solor package on my car if possible. also the sun shades for the back of the car etc..

and going w/ a 2.7T w/ manual. Stage 2/3 2.7T with a manual and rear end that's easy to get. The bolts should line up, just a matter of hacking on a LOT of wires... recoding the cluster for a 6 cylinder instead of 8. Could be very interesting. Your own RS8.
