Re: ALL CODES GONE NOW !!
Yes...the more I thought about it, I figured the sensor was in the air box. So I hooked it up and Voila....code is gone. I still had the ABS code. I put the left front wheel back on, and installed the cover panel the goes under the engine, and let the car back down onto floor. I then started it up, moved the car forward and rearward a few feet and shut it off. Then upon restart there were NO CODES...NO TROUBLE LIGHTS...YAY !! Now I just have to fix that right side headlight and she's ready to go. I can't say enough good things about this forum and the way you guys come to the rescue. Thank You Everyone! Special and heartfelt Thanks to A8CT for going above and beyond the call of duty to give me advice. It was a hard job the first time out. I used the Bentley procedure but there was still lots of details left out. I'm just glad everything worked out fine. The crank/cam locking methods is a great idea and is nearly fool-proof. The tensioning procedure is kinda iffy because your not sure how much tolerance you have from the specs - if any. And the belt cover adjustments made for a noisy start up and I had to tweak and move things around to get it quiet. They definately were NOT to the spec from the factory though - way too much gap! I'm very happy the ol'e girl starts instantly and runs smooth as glass. Thank You Again....
