My waterpump saga is over, there's a day of my life I'll never get back!
The Meyle pump lasted just under 5k miles and was probably leaking for a while. I just happened to catch it while changing the oil.
I have already noticed that my intermittent/slightly hot running condition is eliminated. It did this from day one (6 months ago) and I was never able to figure out what it was. I changed the thermostat too, maybe that was bad.
I'll update my 40v notes with a couple of more comments. Now that I've done it THREE times it's getting pretty easy. Good thing I bought all the tools!
