Mystery capped off vacuum hose found..
Anyone any idea what this is for and where its meant to be connected?

I love a mystery. Although I recognize approximately where this is, the photo is just a wee bit close to identify surrounding parts.
Being a 98 Euro S8, I don't know what engine this is ....32 or 40V? ...3 letter code?
Does the car have cruise control? ...or maybe used to?

Its a 32v AHC engine. The hose comes from way down under the car going back towards the middle, where the Tranny is, so Tozo may be onto something.
Not that some of the hoses in the image are coolant hoses for the LPG fuel system on this car. The car has cruise control, which stopped working about 3wks after I picked up the car (though this may have been caused by a torn hose on top of the TB, just fixed didnt test yet).
