Default Nav+ for our A/S8

Just a little Q from a USA S8

What is a Nav+ D head unit worth? Stated as new, but untested and w/o any other parts.

Gracias

Default If it works, $350-$550, if it doesn't work $0

The other parts will probably cost you another $200 or so plus you'll need discs.

It's use to be about $1000 for everything, but now that they are old, I imagine you could do it for less.

Default Thanks Paul. I just bought one off ebay. Supposed to be new

but it only comes with the unit itself. My S8 has the factory Nav, so I tink all I need is an antannae extension, the New England disc, and the TMC deal you specify on Audipages. BTW, what does TMC stand for?

Thanks, Ed

Default TMC = traffic monitoring ???

It's difficult to find a correct antenna extension, a TMC and a wiring harness.

Email Jon Lofquist, he might have them in stock, it's soooooo much easier than trying to do it yourself.

jonlofquist@aol.com

Tell him you need the antenna wire. Follow my procedure on installing the GPS antenna to route it from front to back.

Default There's a place in (Virginia ?) that made me an antenna extension for the factory antenna.

I'll see if I can dig up the contact info.

Bob

It was around $35 if I recall
