My Nav Plus was finally installed in my 2000 A8!
With a ton (most of it) of help from Eric (S4 forums) we installed a D-Navi, Blau Punkt ME-3 DVD player, Tvtuner, Audi Disc changer, and Gala bypass.
It is amaazing, I cannot believe Audi did not offer these in the U.S.
Pictures to follow.
Thank, Eric, Paul W., Dan Gold, and John Lofquist
John

It's really nice having Paul, Dan, and John L. around to help with the install isn't it? I couldn't believe I was able to do it myself, but with their help it came off without a hitch.
By the way, have you bought the latest Nav maps (2003)? I've found them to be much more detailed than last year's disks, especially in smaller cities. Dan has published a procedure on his website for "slightly modifying" the maps you buy from navteq.com

disk modification page

Problem is, it's PAL video input format, so you need an NTSC->PAL video converter (I'm assuming you're in the U.S.) and then you'll just get an RCA video in, so you'd need to convert your computer video to standard TV video.
