Sorry, I didn't explain it right. I bought the car a few months ago and "conveniently" the navigation cds were missing. So I am looking to buy some maybe on Ebay but am unsure which ones. Thank you

I own a 2001 A8L and it uses the D-Navi discs. Is yours a late or early 2001 model?

I think its early. On the sticker it says that it was manufactured 11/00. So yours are D-navi? Thank you

I have an Audi Technical Bulletin, that states that the Navigation 3 (also known as Navigation C) was introduced beginning with MY 2000. Navigation 4 ( also known as Navigation D) was introduced on 2001 A8 models from Vin: 4DZ1N008294 and introduced on all models (except S4) beginning MY 2002.

So according to the bulletin my uses C-Navi because my vin number is before the 8294 last digits. I'll also call navteq tomorrow to see what they say. Thank you very much for all of your help. Really appreciate it!

If you want to email me with your info, I can make you a test disc with a C to see if it is actually a Navi C.
