Has any one upgraded their fog lights to true HID set , Bulb Ballast? If so how hard was it. I have a HID set and want to put them in

Depends on your car model, type of conversion kit and how handy you are.
Is it a conversion kit made specifically for your car AND specifically fog lights?
If so should be fairly easy...a matter of finding a spot to mount ballasts with most kits...plugs are easy, if it's the correct kit.

If it's not a direct conversion kit made for "H3" bulb replacement, for example, it's gonna be tough.
