Need Driver's Side Mirror Glass
The driver's side mirror glass in my 99A8 is turning a nice copper color. While distinctive, I would prefer a more ordinary, reflective appearance. Does anyone have a suitable replacement laying about that they would be willing to part witn?

I bought some mirror glass at Home Depot. I'm going to try to attempt to cut it to see if it works.
If it does, then I am going to just epoxy it ontop of my existing glass. I will def be sure to buff the edges so there is no sharpness.

These mirrors are not tinted like the factory unit, for greater visibility. Your heated mirrors function, though at a slightly slower defrost time. I just checked with my independent mechanic, who told me he would install a new heated mirror lens for $60 - $70 all in.
Maybe he can reveal his sources . . .

Lets see $40 for the mirror from the dealer, $2 for the plastic scraper-10 min labor - $18-28 profit
