Trying to locate a part number and retailer of replacement fasteners that are used to secure the front spoiler to the bumper of my 2000 A8.
This spoiler (or valance) has taken a beating here in the North and I had removed it since it was hanging, poorly, from zip-ties and a few remaining fasteners. The foglights are long gone.
I want to secure it solidly but have no fasteners. The parts diagrams I've seen just aren't specific about the fastener for the spoiler.
This place seemed to have a good visual selection http://www.clipsandfasteners.com/Vol...eners_s/68.htm but I don't have an original fastener to compare.
Thanks for any help.

i found an assorted thing of fastners at auto parts store for rest.
Unless you are talking about the two special center ones that hold the plastic that keeps the oid from dripping on garage floor. The two that have grooves for flat head scewdriver (i.e. oil change).
I haven't found those.

Have a look here: http://www.audiusaparts.com/parts/20...iagram=1360007
Think they are #26, 27, 28
This digram has part numbers and is labeled 19, 20, and 21
http://www.jimellisaudiparts.com/sho...driveLine=8055
This *might* be the pin for the belly pan, give Loree or Jake over there a buzz and they can tell you for sure

I've had bumpers off before, but never disassembled them, but between the Bentley drawing and ETKA drawing, it looks as though you may looking for push rivet # 4D0863788 >>

silverd2, the 4D0863788 rivet was exactly what I was looking for. Order placed for 20 and I am excited to get the spoiler back on. Thank you.
Appreciate everyone's input.

Plastic rivets arrived and worked great! I found that a C-clamp really helped set the rivets in the tight spots and Channel-Locks helped in others. Spoiler is solidly re-attached. Got a glimpse of a loose and floating parking sensor doing the work. I was encouraged that these rivets supposedly are re-usable.
$0.72 each, purchased from http://www.volkswagenpartscheap.com/
