Default need help with cell phone

I have a analog cell phone on my 99 A8 which seems to have a short circuit sometimes it works. The fuses were fine. Any ideas on what the problem is or where I can purchase a new or used handset?

Default Analogue is dead..

After having my oem analogue cloned twice (they steal the signal and make hunbdreds of dollars in calls to foreign countries) which compells you to get a new number or forget about roaming, I went cingular sony ericsson t616 bluetooth enabled. Way way cool with an interface extremely well thought out. EZ to use. Infrared syching. email.. text messaging, camera and sound recording too.
Right now I use it in the car with the Jabra wireless head set but will prolly also install the hands free bluetooth which may also allow radio mute.
ps for any who may not know.. all I have to do is bring the phone into the car and the headset automatically sees the signal so the phone can just stay in my pocket or briefcase.

Why go to all the effort of wiring in a digital phone if you have an active analog phone installed? My wife and I have used the analog phone all over the western US and find it works as well as her tri-mode phone and more convenient. The voice activation ("Turn on Telephone"} and hands free control works well. If you can't get a service provider to activate the analog phone, then wiring in a digital phone makes sense.
