Default Need some tire help.

So i have my new wheels arriving in a couple of days, and i'm looking into tires.

the rear wheels are a 19x10
and the front are a 19x9

the tires i have been looking at getting are the Toyo T1R
for the rear i was thinking a 265/30/19
and for the front a 235/35/19

buuut, this only gives me a load rating of 91 in the front and 94 in the rear... so is this really dangerous, or is it okay to drive on this?

i want to do a slight stretch on the rear and the front if possible, as i still would like to tuck them if i can.

any suggestions or do you think its okay to run them?

Default doesnt matter- the visual effect of the wheel will remain the same- the rears will

be streched a little and look good, imho

255 is too narrow for the 10" wheel. I have 245 on the stock 7" wheel.

Default Depends on the section width of the tire.

Most brands of 255/40-19 tires have an approved rim width of 8.5-10". This size tire provides absolutely no "curbing" protection to a 10" wheel, but performance and handling is undoubtedly maximized.

Your much taller profile 245/50-17, on the other hand, has an approved rim width of "only" 7-8.5"<ul><li><a href="http://www.audipages.com/upgrades/tiresizeoptions.html">A8/S8 Tire Options</a></li></ul>

Default A 1% circumference difference is not a problem.

The Torsen center differential can handle up to a 3% difference.

Default Those are A6 tires sizes.

IMHO, the huge wheel gap with such small diameter tires will look terrible on an A8 (to say nothing of the very low load range of the front tires).

For a staggered setup, I suggest ...

Front: 245/40-19 on the 19x9 wheels
Rear: 285/35-19 on the 19x10 wheels

Load range is not a problem with these sizes, and there's only a 0.5% difference in circumference. To minimize the increased understeer, I also strongly recommend that you installed the S8's heavier rear sway bar on your A8.
