What did they repair it w / electrical tape?? as opposed to an epoxy putty.

Default It's the one in the middle...
....they removed the compression fitting (which is still on the one on the right) by cutting it off and then hose clamped it to the hard piped fuel line.

Default Got ya. I wonder how they dealt with the Variable Intake Geometry situation?
That setup is unbelievable! You have to go to Brazil and figure this all out!
