Troll ? All of these systems began on drawing boards 6 years ago.
The problems BMW has been having with idrive is perhaps a sign they rushed the product to market. Just try the roadfly forums on the E65 cars.

If not a troll he/she sure has a funny way to make friends
I guess we will let the press and buying public decide if it is an imitation of that POS i-drive or something usable.
At least the A8 doesnt look like the 745.

Whatever, BMW's are underpowered
Maybe the BMW fanatics are feeling the heat (as a disclaimer, the only BMW I find worth owning is an 850). In the NA market, MB is coming out with twin-turbo V12's, Audi is coming out with twin-turbo V8's.
The fact that BMW marketing has fooled US auto consumers into thinking that BMW has a racing history is finally being exposed as the lie that it is (lets see, a few turbo sedans, a few F1 motors ... BFD).
I'm getting tired of explaining to the "hobby" car enthusiast crowd that MB and Auto Union were building 1000hp road racing cars 70 years ago.
