... that's why there is an A8L, duh.
As usual, most official shorts of the A8 are from an angle. Not from a direct, heads-on frontal view (e.g., when walking up to front of car). Very rarely a direct, heads-on backside view (e.g., rear drivers looking at the car). I have to see auto mags to get an idea of what the A8 looks like from a direct front view, and to compare with the S500 and 745.
And these official pics usually always have the optional 19" (12 spoke) wheels which make the car look more aggressive.
At least the A8 can be displayed in lighter colors. BMW seems resigned to displaying the new BMW 7 series in darker colors now. Some German mags write that the 7 series Banglehump trunk lid (major) and possibly the tail and/or headlights (refinements) may be facelifted as early as 2004 or 2005 model years.
