the face of my A8L got sandblasted during our recent wind strom in CA. I went to the body shop to get an estimate and they will have to paint the entire hood, bumper and mirrors for $1300. I called my insurance (State Farm) and they will cover it including new headlights, fog lights, windshield and paint the hood, bumper (entire front) and mirrors. Out of my pocket? $50 deductable.... My car will look new all over again..... YEAH!

just curious, how much u pay for comprehensive with State Farm? i got my 97 A8Q for only liability $240/6mo., since the comprehensive is almost $1K/6mo.

The quote was only for the paint work. The lights and windshield will be added.

I am not sure what I pay for my insurance because of multiple car discount...

Can't wait to have my car like new again.

i'm undecided whether to replace my windshield or not. i've had a rock chip cracked a small spider... treated not expanding anymore, but a little bit in my line of sight on driver side.
